A Career to Consider

Do you love working with people? Do you find healthcare and the healthcare system interesting, but you're not quite sure if you want to pursue years of education to become a doctor? That’s okay! The vast majority of healthcare employees are not doctors. In fact, most healthcare workers have jobs that require less than four years of college. Four-year colleges are a great fit for a lot of people, but there are plentiful opportunities in the allied health field if you’re not ready for or interested in pursuing a 4-year degree.

Allied health careers abound in the Spokane region. Because Spokane is the largest healthcare “hub” between Seattle and Minneapolis, a lot of people come to this region for healthcare service, which means there are many major healthcare employers in the Spokane area. What does this mean for you? There’s a great need for a variety of hands-on, frontline healthcare workers.
